six weeks ago I had a tummy tuck with a breast lift and implants. i have been wearing my binder the whole six weeks. my concern is the swelling in both my thighs. is this normal and what can i do about it.

Hi there,

I have heard others complain about lower body swelling after a tummy tuck. Maybe you'll find this link helpful about a woman with swelling hips after her tummy tuck. You're still pretty fresh from surgery...it may just need more time.

You also might want to ask your surgeon about this. I'm sure he's seen it all.

Hi,
I'm 3 wks. post op full TT and full back and flank lipo. My legs were very swollen for about 2 wks post op, so swollen that I couldn't wear my garment (had to stay in my binder). It all subsided and my thighs are fine now. Good luck.
