Over a year!

It's been over a year since my surgery! My scars on my left are still a bit red but they were also raised and have flattened out, so they're progressing great! I had a little CC scare on my right but some aggressive massaging and singulair cleared that up completely! They're soft, move naturally, and most people can't tell they're fake! All in all, they look amazing. I'm so happy I did this but I do kinda wish I'd gone a little bigger to try and close up some of my gap a little better. But hey, I'm not complaining because they're a million times better than what I started off with.

The scars are the only hang ups I have. I'm hoping my scars completely fade like my c-section scar did. I've kept them out of the sun and was diligent about my scar cream so I'm hoping it's a matter of time. Especially since the last month or so they've changed a lot.

I've noticed chest work outs are really uncomfortable. Enough so that I prefer to do really light weights or none at all that engage my pecs primarily. But that's a pretty well known "problem" some people and I knew that's going in.

Hopefully everything continues going well!!

Time to plan for the BBL after my weight loss! :)

6 weeks 1 day!!

I can't believe it's been a month! I've been spitting stitches like crazy! Pulled two more last night so I put some neosporin on the spot and covered it with a bandaid. They're annoying and I can't wait for them to finish dissolving!

My right is still taking its time. The muscle just doesn't want to relax. It's my dominant side and I know that results don't magically appear overnight, but my left looks so much better. I have another appointment coming up July 8th and honestly, I don't really want to wait that long but I don't really have a reason to go earlier. I'm just hoping righty catches up soon.

Other than that I don't usually notice them anymore. Unless I'm doing massages they just like any other part of me. My incisions are healing up well and I'm noticing that the biocorneum is really helping my incisions. The skin was pretty dry and tender from all the tape and the silicone cream has kept the skin soft and hydrated.

37 Days Post Op!

Over a month since my surgery! I can't believe it! They're looking and feeling so much better day by day! Other than having some trouble with sutures it's been an easy recovery. For some reason I'm lucky enough to be one of those people that spits sutures. I have one little spot (about half the size of a dime) under my left breast that had a bunch come out at once, so that area is a little raw - nothing some neosporin and a bandaid can't handle! Dr. G and his staff have continued to wonderful! I love the fact that after everything is said and done they're just as responsive now and they were beforehand. You hear so many stories where that isn't the case.

I've been back at work now for close two weeks. I'm feeling about 80% right now. Mostly because I'm still not able to push and pull. I feel a bit weaker in my arms and chest than I did prior to surgery, but considering my placement was submuscular I can't push myself far right now. Although I'm sure some of that is in my head since I've really been overprotective of my new assets! Most of the time I forgot they're even there, it's not until i touch or look at them that I become aware of them. Other than the stiffness from my own muscle, they feel soft and are really starting to settle and have some movement. All of my friends and family that know compliment me on how well they suit me and how great they look!

I can't wait to see how they continue to change over the coming weeks! One is a little ahead of her sister, my left breast, but considering I'm right hand dominant I can't expect my right sided muscles to relax at the same rate. Dr G wasn't concerned, so that's enough for me! :)
