i lost 30kgs in my early 30's didn't consider a tummy tuck i thought with exercise i would work it off. walked 2 hours most days and went to the gym where i was assured in time i could get rid of that jelly belly i also played squash fixtures talk about try hard and it wasn't possible so at 49 i decided to have the surgery after having spinal fusion i thought if i could manage that i could at least get the courage to do something about my excess skin i found this site and it really helped me through it. was less painful then the fusion and wonderful to have a flat tummy. little did i know i was to have more surgery to my knee this time it was dreadful pain and still give me grief i have oestio arthritis and have had my hand operated on this year. i had thigh reduction last year that wasn't very successful, i had vertical cut down to my knee but the upper thighs are still flabby and he did liposuction in his clinic was pretty awful experience that didn't work so he operated again still not happy but i think my age might contribute there. so if you guys are thinking of getting it done do it asap. i feel like i've had enough surgery but i'd like to have body lift just afraid my knee will give up on me. it really makes me keep my weight on track. i work at a toystore so lot of lifting is required. but i love not having that jelly belly.

when i went for consultation he saw me briefly until day of surgery took photo marked where he was fixing the surgery took longer then expected and he used staples instead of stitches. did the same with thighs more staples. i don't want to ever have staples again the fusion they used staples to a bit lazy i thought his excuse was my skin was tearing but he should have planned for that surely.

Oh my goodness you have been through so much! And those staples sound very painful. I have never heard of staples being used in procedures like this? OUCH.
I am very happy for you and the new tummy. I am sure you are totally loving that now. Would love to hear more about the body lift if and when you have that done. Do keep us up to date on your progress and post some pre and post op pictures if you have them.
