I just got my lips injected with restalyne on...

I just got my lips injected with restalyne on Monday, it's now Thursday and the swelling is gone but now I can feel the scar tissue from where the needles went in for the numbing stuff that was used first... Is that going to go away??? My lips LOOK amazing which is my number one concern obviously hehe but they FEEL like a bean bag chair when I press them together... Please tell me this is not going to last... It's creepy feeling and really bothering me.

Your lips look great! Which doc at Renu did them? Did your problem ever work itself out?

Hi, your lips look great!! Sounds like you still have some swelling. My Dr. told me it can last up to 3 to 4 weeks. :)

Sorry to hear its creeping you out. Do you think its the filler beading up? I would be surprised if there would be scar tissue from the numbing injections.

I have no idea that's just what I've read from others... Does restalyne filler ever bead up on other people? I called the nurse and she said it is probably irritation and should clear up in a week to a week and a half... I'm hoping she's right

Its looking like the board certified doctors who shared their opinions on this Q&A agree with that:
