I am a 64 yr old light skinned black woman. Had a hard time finding someone who would treat my melasma. So far I have a 50% improvement. They will give me as many treatments as I need. I took Arnica Montana 30X on the day of treatment, and used every 4 hrs. (4 tablets sublingual), can also use the GEL.

This is great stuff, helps prevent bruising and swelling. All the redness was gone by the 4th day, no swelling or pain. I Got the Arnica from my plastic surgeon 12 yrs ago when I had my eyes done. Worth trying folks if you are having more treatments. They are making me wait 30 days for next treatment.

just to say it was not that painful. They gave me a Valium and Vidodine?? No swelling and some redness the next day. I swear by the Arnica Montana 30X. lots of info on the internet. Got it from my plastic surgeon 12 yrs ago when I had lipo and my eyes done. Next treatment around May 16th. May need 2 or 3 more treaments. I am VERY pleased with results so far. I also used Emu oil and Agan oil at night.

Hi rhender,

Welcome to the Fraxel community. I'm so glad you found someone who was able to help find a solution to your Melasma. Did you have any pain or down time from your procedures? How many more procedures did they say you will have to have before it is 100% gone? Please keep us updated.

Thanks so much for the review,

-Britt

please update us on your skin condition after 6 months.

if you can resist, don't do any more treatments. it'll only make your skin worst.

you don't see it now, but it's coming.
