I had breast reduction in February of 2013. I am a 52 year old woman who has been researching and debating doing this procedure probably for the better part of the last 20 years. I have visited around 4 other doctors before finding Dr. Dustin Reid at Restora Austin.

The surgery itself was extensive and it is scary to consider so don't feel bad if you are having qualms. It's a big deal. But I was so surprised at 1. how well I did 2. how fast I recovered and 3 how beautiful I feel now.

I am now 8 weeks out of my surgery and I have not had a bit of problems. They removed over 4 pounds from my breasts and also did lyposuction on the sides under my arms so that I have a very smooth (no rolls) look - wow I've just been blown away.

Dr. Reid is fantastic. He has a highly trained staff and they put you at ease right away. They are caring and real. If you are like me and have visited numerous Plastic Surgeons, you know what I'm talking about. I felt, at many, that I had walked into a reality show with the puffed up lips and face faces. Nobody at Restora looks this way or acts this way. They are real, talented and caring. But, the real artist here is Dr. Reid. He immediately put me at ease and made me feel like he cared about what my concerns and wishes were. He was always up front and realistic with me but here is the thing that really sold me - he was excited about his work. He reminded me of an artist that cannot wait to start on a new project. Also as a side note - I came from out of town to have my surgery so I made sure I had good family and friends to help me for that first week. If you are unsure - just go visit Dr. Reid and the girls at Restora, they will put your mind at ease.

Congratulations on your surgery and healing . I am only 16 days post op. But its been wonderful so far .
Thank you glittergal54. I'm looking forward to in a few days being "tape free" lol I went to the store the other day and tried on a swim suit - now granted I'm still not a thin lady but never before have I been able to fit the girls into a swim suit - I didn't buy it because I'm an idiot but I do plan on going back to see if it's still there. lol Good luck and I'm glad you are having a good experience as well.
I am 54 . My sister and I were talking about swimsuits last might . She said now you can wear a swimsuit because your boobs are mall . I told her thy reduced my boobs but the rest of me looks the same .lol We got a good laugh out of that . But you know since my reduction my possibilities are endless . Its only been 18 days PO but it has changed my life .
