I was fortunate enough to have my insurance cover most of the surgery. I've had lapband for about three years now. I've lost a total of 62 lbs!! After two kids I was up to 222lbs and I'm only 5'2"!! I was depressed and didn't even realize it. My weight had taken over and I'd given up. I've tried every diet plan/pill out there and decided to give lapband a shot. I had two c-sections so in comparison, the surgery was a breeze. Seriously, it was nothing. Now I'm 160lbs and I go to the gym 4-5 times a week and love it. Also, Feb 14th I'm getting a mommy makeover to get rid of these saggy boobs and flubbery belly. So yes! Do it! Just follow the directions as far as what you can and can not eat! It's the only way it's going to work for you.
