I've had PIP implants for 8 years. I'm getting them removed tomorrow. Really nervous and scared. They are over the muscle, 290cc. I used to be a cup and went up to c cup. I've had a baby and managed to breastfeed. The surgeon has said i have enough tissue for b cup. We'll see.
Hope my results are ok, worried about sagging etc... Will keep you ladies updated.

PIPs are out- implant free!!!

I've had the op today and feeling ok. My left implant was ruptured really severely. I'm feeling a lot of discomfort. I'm just waiting for them to fluff up. Not much sagging at all- I'm actually happy to see they weren't deformed looking- mine were over the muscle so was expecting wrinkling. I can't wait to see some change.

1 week

It's been 1 week implant free, I'm really apply with the results s far. No pain, they have changed so much in 7 days. I wish I had done this earlier.

3 weeks implant free

Hi all, just wanted to update everyone. My breast have healed really well, really happy with the results. I was expecting the worse, so if anyone is thinking about removing just do it, don't think twice.

I just had my per op appointment today for my explant. Since I'm pregnant and won't be breast feeding I have to return to him 6month post my csection delivery. I was hoping he could explant now but he said there could be a risk of infection. He told me that my breast will be droopy and will probably look the same pre ba/bl. I'm so confused on what to do :-(. Do you have pictures of you having implants and now you did the explant? That would help me out a lot. And your advice on this matter? Thank you in advance

Hi Bebe1980 I am confused as I went to see Mr.Richards after you posted on my profile about him (thanks!) but I have been quoted £3,660 at The Highgate. Not sure why I should have a different price as he said he would just explant and leave the capsule same as you. any ideas or did you have anything different? Thanks

Hey Bebe1980 I found out the price difference is because you have PIPs so don't worry. Is everything healing ok?

That's great- my appointment went well today, the surgeon said they are healing well. I brought a bra from marks and spencer today. Padded with underwire and my breast look great in it. Waiting for the 6 week mark so I can wear it, got measured to 34b, bigger than I used to be. I guess I am size 10 now and used to be size 8. So where are you off too?

Wow that will be amazing. It's called limited flirt lace push up bra. It give really good shape. It's underwired. My stitches were snipped at the sides- they are dissovable. The scars are also so neat and they have given us the go ahead to start trying for baby 2. So we'll wait until new year. I have a 5 week checkup on 10th jan. I was honestly expecting the worse but my breast are getting perky by the day. So happy I did this. You've been amazing support. So thank you. X

Hi, I've got ruptured implants and am waiting for an explant but it's being done on the NHS as I live in England too so I've already been waiting weeks and weeks! Had the silicone from your ruptured implant travelled to any other parts of your body and made any of your lymph nodes enlarged? Did the surgeon have to remove any breast tissue or muscle too?
  • Reply
Hi, no he didn't remove any tissue or muscle. I'm also in the uk. X
