Dear Jake, I am so sorry that you fell for the same old hook that I did. (Pun for hook, line and sinker.) I know exactly how you feel as many others do. I also share many of your same complaints right down to the statement about looking worse after the procedure! I am hoping that by people like us that take the time to post about what really happens with the procedure and outcome that we can make a difference for the next person that is considering this PLASTIC SURGERY. The very fact that they continue to use the same assembly line tactics on each and every patient should be a clue for those women and men who are looking into facial rejuvenation. $8000 dollars is a lot of money for nothing to show except scars and extra wrinkles. I had my procesure one month ago. Dr Elizabeth Whitaker in Atlanta performed my procedure and I am thrilled at this point. I experienced no pain at all. My procedure took 3 and Half hours because the doctor was no initially pleased with how the neck turned out and she redid it. In two weeks all bruising was gone and I look 10 yrs younger. I have a bit of ridging on my cheeks and a few small lumps in the neck area but it has only been 4 weeks and I have a follow up in another 2 to address those issues. I am sure they are attributed to swelling and will go away when the swelling is complete gone. I had the lifestyle life and upper eye lids which healed within a week.
