On the Journey...- Atlanta, GA

So I've been considering cosmetic surgery for some...

So I've been considering cosmetic surgery for some time now...struggling most of my life with weight issues. But I hit my max weighing in at 300lbs in 2011. Since, I've loss 101lbs and looking & feeling the best I've ever looked/felt! (I'm the girl that gets the back handed compliment...you have a pretty face! Translation: drop some lbs & you'll look even better!) With the loss, my skin (I'm 40) is not as resilient as it once was and my stomach is completely out of control! So I've consulted with several doctors in my city ....I just haven't felt comfortable with anyone. Then one of my girlfriends saw Dr. J on TV and she had me tune in. I was so impressed that I flew down to meet him & scheduled my procedure (full tummy tuck w/lipo/fat transfer to backside) date prior to leaving! The kicker....the office seems to have gone into a bit of a shock with the new found popularity due to the TV appearance so there's no written info...what to do prior to surgery...how to prepare for after. So I've taken to the blogs. Any insight on how to better prepare, what to pack, & any tips on after care/treating incision etc would be greatly appreciated. I will continue to post my journey as it unfolds....
Thnx in advance for any and all assistance!
