I had fraxel at noon today. After reading some of these reviews I had become frightened that fraxel would be too painful to tolerate. Not the case at all. I took four Advil right before the numbing cream was started. The cream stayed on for a full hour and then was removed. I tolerated the 30 minutes of treatment easily and could have handled a longer session. My face felt very hot and sunburned for about an hour afterwards but I iced my face with a bag of frozen peas for an hour and then the burning left. Lots of moisturizer before bed tonight. Can't wait to see how everything heals!
Procedure was tolerated very well this morning. Slight sunburned feeling tonight but nothing bad. Looking forward to seeing how things look after healing.

I'm glad to hear you were able to tolerate the treatment ok. Were you given any pain medications or numbing agents to help?
