I knew I needed to do something about the issue and started shopping doctors. Do yourself a favor and make questions lists for every appointment. Believe me, you will forget many things during the consultation process and pre-op process. I shopped three doctors. All of the prices were about the same. The only difference being that each doctor had a different opinion on the best approach. I know that I chose the best doctor. 15 minutes after leaving Dr. Larsen's office, I knew he was the one to do the surgery.

What can you say about a man that has radically changed your life forever? I shopped other doctors and the prices were very similar to Dr. Larsen's quote. However, during the consultation, Dr. Larsen did something very different than the other doctors. He took the time to know me and get inside my head a little (at least I think so). Plus, he is not with a medical group or hospital and was able to give me a cash discount. My operation was a lengthy one-- 7 to 8 hrs. Dr. Larsen was able to do the unimaginable. He removed 31 lbs of flesh from my body. I had to stay over night in the recovery center. Dr. Larsen came back later that night to check on me. He did not just come and go. He stuck around a few minutes and we laughed together at a tv show that was on. This really helped me to make it through the night. I went home the next day with good solid directions for my recovery. I am still recovering. The aftercare has been wonderful and the staff are some of the best ladies in the world. So far, everything has gone exactly as Dr. Larsen stated. I recently returned to visit some co-workers. No one recognized me-- at all. The results are mind boggling. How this man is able to do what he does is unfathomable to me. I am a brand new man. Literally inside and out. His office will always remain holy ground for me. It's where I was given my life back. Dr. Larsen's office can sometimes be hectic. His skills are in high demand! But, the wait is of no consequence to me. While I wait, I smile. I would do it all over again in a heart beat. My operation was not a vanity operation. It has opened the door to a brand new world full of options, hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Thank you Dr. Larsen and team!
