Think I should wait to sit?

$15,000
Hey my RS ladies...it has been 9 weeks now and 1 day..I love my results! Dr. J has my body looking lovely and very proportionate....I still have not sat down without my boppy pillow but I'm thinking its about time...what do you all think?? When do you ladies who have already had a bbl start sitting and did it effect your results at all?

Hey, how long do you think is enough time to stay out of work? How's your healing going? Are you still noticing a loss in volume or noticed fluffing?
I took off 2 weeks if you are only getting a bbl I think that's enough time I got a tt also so if I could have stayed off for a month I would have that's a hard recovery... No I haven't loss any volume in awhile now don't think I see any fluffing either I have been 42" in the hips for a long time
You look soooo good!
Thank you so much!! :)
Looking good! How did you sleep hun! Im getting the same thing also, did you just sleep on your back?
I slept on my knees bent over an ottoman for several weeks because I had fat grafted to my hips and butt and didnt want to put any pressure on them... I finally figured out a way to sleep on my side so that it didn't compromise my hips...I will say it was pure hell at 1st...you are having the same thing done are you going for a round 2?
Well, I had a bbl in 2011 with lipo, biut I need a tummytuck because of my skin from having children, so Im getting a mini bbl. I'm going to just get hella pillows and try to make it work without applying a lot of pressure. It does sound like hell at its finest! Im just hoping for little pain and hopefully to find a good position to lay in. Dang that sounds painful on the knees, I know I could not survive that way lol
Yes I put pillows under my knees but they still got carpet burn but I was so scared to put in pressure on my butt and it actually gave my stomach a little relief
At least it gave relief on your tummy! It seems like it would hurt the tummy that way, well you made it through, I know your glad and it's worth the pain for the end result. Im not going to trip off my butt too much and just hope that it stays because I have to find a comfy position with getting a tt! Bbls are drama!!! lol All that not sitting, I cant believe Im doing that part again, but I want it more fuller and some hips. I will say that I'm scard to ruin fat from the hips, but Dr. Salama does lateral butt injections, so I guess I will find out if it sticks later down the road!
Well stretching your stomach is not comfortable so kneeling with your body bent kinda relaxes your stomach...I agree the bbls are so much drama you would think as much as they cost you would be good to do anything right after surgery but that is not the case...you are right I am so glad I am done my stomach still doesn't feel normal though...it feels better with a waist cincer on it...I was told though it takes about a year for it to all the way heal
Right!!! I'm on the tummytuck part of this sight too and the ladies always say that they feel better with the waist clincher on for months. I think I will stick it out for 6 months to a year depending on how the swelling is going. I know you can swell several months later but just know that the end result is golden! I'm hoping to lay on my side in a fetal position with tons of pillows, I will be staying prayed up for sure. My family is nervous but Im reassuring them that everything will be okay. Did you use a walker or did you just walk around right after?
Yes you will be fine I will pray for you as well. I walked around on my own the key is to stay active you do need to walk around every hour or so or you will get stiff
Great advice! Thank you so much!
Oh, and I start sitting after week three and had no volume lost. I think you should be fine, but the longer you wait it out I think the better. At some point it does not matter though because the fat is settled in and not going anywhere!
