My Experience with Invisalign - Atlanta, GA

Rec'd my first set yesterday and already I'm sick of taking them out everytime I eat or even snack. I can say that it has made me eat less because of all you go through to take them out, brush and put them back in.

The cost wasn't bad at all, my insurance paid 50% of the cost so I ending up paying $2100. As time goes on I hope I will get use to all this, but I wish I would have opted for metal braces. Less upkeep.

Great review?

Hi Tee,

Welcome to the Invisalign community. I would imagine that would take some getting used to, but as Arnengaggle says it probably does become part of your daily routine. How long do you have to have Invisalign? That's cool insurance paid for half. Please keep us updated.

Thanks so much for the review,

-Britt

The maintenance as far as flossing & brushing can be a real pain at first, but after a couple weeks it just becomes part of your routine and it's no big deal. I use to be a huge snacker and pop drinker. I haven't had a pop since I got the aligners and I don't snack anymore. Again, seems like a pain but you just get use to it. Small sacrifice for having straight teeth. I've had aligners since December and am starting my 9th tray tonight.
