I am 27 years old, and when I smile - one eye always closes more than the other and it has driven me crazy forever. My PS suggested putting botox under that eye so that it wouldn't close as much. Well, that made it nice and wide, but then the other was more closed! So, I went back to get the other done too, and he also put more in underneath both eyes. Total I had about 8 shots of it around my lower eyes. Well.... Now I look like I'm 10 years older! The botox has created deep wrinkles all underneath my eyes when I smile! I don't know why it had the reverse effect on me??? Now I'm just trying not to smile so that no one can see the wrinkles and bags under my eyes. :( Never again!

Hi Mel,

That sucks, I'm so sorry. I hope you went back and talked to him about it to see how you could solve it. I have heard of other muscles have to work harder or can weaken once the initial muscle is immobilized Please let us know how things progress.
