Quick hello

Hello everyone (if there's anybody who still looks at my profile lol). I've been gone for quite awhile. I graduated nursing school in December so I've been busy studying for the NCLEX. I don't have much to say but my boobs finally feel like they are mine now. They have some movement to them now too.

Post op day 10 & pregnancy update.

On the day I went to my post op appointment on day 6, I notified the nurse that I had a positive at home pregnancy test and asked her to let me take one in the office. Sure enough it came back positive and she was just so dumbfounded. Dr doc came in and she told him I had a positive pregnancy test and she said it was negative right before surgery but is now positive. He tried to make light of the situation by saying, "well I can tell you that we didn't get you pregnant". I didn't even laugh. In my mind I was just so scared of the negative effects of all the meds and anesthesia. Anyway he said my boobs are doing great, he took off the steri strips on my incisions and just told me to massage the incision daily. Then right before he dismissed himself, he pointed to the pregnancy test and said "I don't know what to tell you about that". And right after he left the nurse said, "I don't know whether to tell you congratulations or I'm sorry, but whatever you decide I wish you good luck". I wanted to bawl my eyes out. Being pregnant with my second child should be such a pleasant experience but there I was so miserable and upset that I had my breast done while I was pregnant. I'm just so stressed out. I haven't been to my OB yet because they won't see me until I'm 8-10 weeks.

As far as an update on my breasts, they aren't dropping as fast as I'd like them to. The right side is still riding pretty high and my boobs seem to be getting closer together.. Is that normal? I'm afraid of getting symmastia. I've always been having weird stinging/tingling sensation in my breast and my nipples. My nipples are extra sensitive lately. Occasionally my armpit area would be sore. I switch between my surgical bra and my target sports bra. The c9 by champion high impact bra is like the best ever. Better than under Armour for sure! I wear a 32dd, 34d, or medium in sports bra depending on style and brand.

I'm typing this out on my iPhone so hopefully I touched on everything I wanted to mention. I'll try to keep everyone posted. If anyone ever underwent general anesthesia while in their first trimester, did everything turn out ok/healthy? Please let me know!!

:(

I took a pregnancy test today and it showed up positive.... It should be a happy moment for me but I am afraid of all the meds and going under anesthesia and how that would effect my pregnancy... I don't understand how the pregnancy test before the surgery showed up negative. The nurse only waited 3 seconds before saying it was negative.. I have my post op appointment at noon today so I will try to update... Any lady who's been pregnant before surgery and didn't know and got a breast aug done? Or anyone who got pregnant during the early phase of a breast aug? Please offer some advice and words of encouragement because I feel pretty down......... :(
