Yay!!

Haven't had internet all week so I am playing catch up tonight. Big day today!! Well yesterday I was able to button a pair of pre-surgery pants easily!! That only lasted about an hour but it was awesome! Then today I could do the same and they were LOOSE! So excited! Still swollen but it must be going down!!
My scab finally came off and I am so thrilled with how the scar looks!! Using cream and silicone strips.
This is probably TMI.....but it was funny. Got the green light from PS to do just about anything....so I went home and told my husband that after a 6 week closing the candy store had reopened......he was a pretty happy hubby..... ????
Hope everyone is doing well!!

Hello

Hello to all! I have been keeping up with everyone but have not posted much. I just don't feel like I have had many changes since I posted my last pics. I am getting around pretty good and am walking faster and not as sore but still swollen. I still can't get into my pre-surgery pants....I don't want to seem whiny or ungrateful especially when I look at my presurgery pictures. I still am so happy my tires are gone and that my incision is so low but I see some of your pics and some even getting into smaller pant sizes......I do have my 1 month follow up Monday so I will see what they say.
I see a slight difference in the pics. They are from 16 days post op and today which is 27. Do you think there is a difference?
Hope everyone is doing well!!

Spasms

Hello everyone! Tomorrow I am 3 weeks post op.....21 days. Wow.......progress report is that I am still swollen :( and in the afternoon....I can hear the Velcro on my binder rustling. I still can't wear my pre-surgery pants but I have discovered that I can put my abdominal binder on over any of my pants and they stay on. ( I still wear my compression garment under everything)
I slept in bed for for the first time last night. Could sleep on my side so that was good. I do have a question. Have any of you experienced any muscle spasms while you sleep. As soon as I move my legs slightly to change positions my abdominal muscles seize up and spasm and it is quite strong. Happens to my thighs too. It's crazy and I am hoping it is just part of this and will go away.

So far my experience with Dr. Malhotra and his staff have been wonderful! He is very easy going and answered all of my questions. His office assistant Tammy has been a big cheerleader through all of this and answered plenty of my phone calls and emails. I would definitely recommend Dr. Malhotra to anyone considering this and will be going back for phase 2 of my makeover!
