Updated 3/25

I wanted to update sooner but I was pretty stressed. My surgery was yesterday, and it went so smoothly! I checked in at the hospital at 5:30 am, and from there I got into my surgery garments and my nurse put my IV in my hand (which hurt a lot more than my arm).
I was pretty nervous, to be honest, since I never thought this day would come. My doctor came in, marked me up, and then I was asleep. I woke up with some pain but I got home with some help from my mom. She's been so great. She also told me that my surgeon took off 3 1/2 lbs in total!! So by the time I am healed up and my swelling goes down, I should be a large C/ small D! I'm so sore at the moment, but I got no regrets about this surgery! I'll post pictures later, as I'm pretty tired.

3 more weeks!!

I can't believe I'm only 21 days away from my surgery!
I really only wanted to update mainly about my medical leave. My doctor told me that he was going to give me a letter for my manager asking for a month off. It was screened to HR so I'm set on that! It's weird but I'm beginning to tell more people about me getting this done. Like, a few weeks ago I was in this shop I like to browse at- the woman who works there knows me well by now- and I was eyeing the bralettes on display. I mentioned how I was so excited to be able to wear those in the near future and ended up telling her all about it. Most of my friends know and those who do know have pretty much said "It's about time!". All of this just feels a bit surreal. Maybe I haven't really digested how major this is in my life.

Need time off at work

Its just under 40 days to my surgery! And I actually got a job too! It pays nice and I think I'll really enjoy it. But now I have to request time off. Two weeks would be ideal, but would it be ok to take just one week off?
Oh and I also bought this dress, it fits so nice except in the bust, as usual!
