Worth It
Spent: $5,000 in Tampa, Florida

Today is my first day with Invisalign and it has been great, all things considered. I had a baby tooth that never fell out that needed to be pulled and the adult tooth that was behind it that needs to be moved into place. I also have crowding and some crooked teeth. I have experienced only mild pain when removing the aligners and a constant pressure on my teeth.

No one even notices they are in. I have read many of the revews and feel for those whose treatments havent gone as expected. I honestly believe that anyone considering Invisalign needs to go to an orthodontist rather than an Invisalign dentist. You may get a discount  with the dentist, but orthodontists are in the business of adjusting smiles where as Invisalign dentists simply  took a crash course and were certified. I have to have the attachments put on in two weeks and am not that worried about it.

My ortho made sure they were not on any of the front teeth. It will be a lot of work to constantly brush and floss but I figure that now ive spent the money, I better do it right. Anyone who is considering treatment should definatly consider.

Also, those who choose to complain about discomfort and inconvienince really need to understand that any precedure designed to re-position the teeth in your mouth will not be pain free and you have to be diciplined with your routine. :)

You know you said you had a tooth removed, well thats the same as me. I was just wondering did it hurt at all when they removed the tooth. And also on the 'brace' did they make it so you looked like you have a tooth where they had previoulsy removed the it. thanks
