I'm 45 and have 5 kids. 2 was c-sections. 25,23,20,18 & 15. I have lost weight but the skin hangs. My hubby and I have talked about this for some time and decided it was time to take action. I am really nerves but ready to go. Tomorrow is my big day. Can't wait to see the new me. I want to look good in a swimming suit again. I know I am not going to be the old young me but I can feel better about myself. Have done all the pre-ops. today nothing to eat but lots of fluids. will post pics of after as soon as i can.

All done and feeling a little pain. Got home around 4 pm. I never realized how much you use your stomach to sit and to stand. Thats when I have most of my pain.(but I have to get up) My drains are not draining a lot. Going back to the dr in the morning at 9 am after that I will fill you all in more.

Well today is day 2 after surgery. Able to move more but not without pain. It duable. But much as far as the swelling going away. I did get a shower. That felt good.
With ask the swelling you really can't see much. Going to try to take some pics tomorrow. Still I'm not having a lot of drainage. I dont know if thats good our bad.
I went to the sr for check up amd they say everything looks ready good. They said I am looking good too. Well thats ask for tonight more to come tomorrow

well its day 3. most of the numness wear off and i had a bad night of sleeping. the pain pills are making my body itch so i try not to take them. (up in pain or up itching) which way to go??? Called the dr waiting on a call back.. Still I have nt been able to go to the bathroom. (BM) how long does it take till you can. Lots of gas. They are changing my pain meds. Good

Last night was a good night.. Slept all night. was able to get up this morning and FINALLY able to go to the bathroom.. Did not hurt at all. Worried for nothing..
Down to taking only Tylenol for pain about 2 to 3 times a day.
I am getting around much better.
I have taken new pics but for some reason I am having trouble uploading them. Still working on that on.
Eating all good foods. Taking my meds and vitamins Doc told me I need to take.
I did get my one daughter to help me shower now today when hubby gets home its his turn to help.
can't wait to lose this ted hose. They drive me crazy.
I am able to gt up and walk around alot easier. My hips are hurting a little from walking bent over.. I have not had much drainage. This binder is bothering my cut line. OK enough complaining.
I am really feeling good.
Off work for 2 more weeks

Hello all!! My hubby took me for a drive today. It was nice to get out of the house. But boy till I got home i was pretty tired and a little sore. but wow it was nice getting off the recliner and out and seeing the world again. Ok i do more then just sit on the recliner but it feels like thats where I am most of the time. I go tuesday to see about getting the tubes out. I have not had much drainage from them in the past 2 days. So I am hoping...

Wow what a day. I got up this morning feeling really good. then eating breakfast i started coughing wow what pain that is. Hurt for a few hours after that. then went with my daughter for a little drive and sneezed wow i think that hurt more then the cough. I have not had much drainage for the past few days. I go tomorrow to see if he is going to take the drains out. Does anyone know what that feels like? Everytime I stand up i feel like my skin is really tight in the tummy area. Is this normal? And when does this go away? Been drinking lots and eating pretty good just I get full really fast. Eating smaller meals more often. Well till later I'll let you know what it feel like if I get them out.. I am really scared!!!!

Wow another full day. Got up went to eat breakfast and started coughing. That is not very pleasent. After that got my shower all went ok there. went with my daughter for a car ride. coughed again. Wow what pain. (When does that pain stop?) Then a little later sneezed for the 1st time. Wow does that hurt. Almost same pain only in a different place. Tomorrow is going to be a big day. I went to the dr yesterday and got both of my drains out. HARAY!! Lost all the tape too. That was good they was pulling on the skin. Have to wear the binder for a while yet. It feels better with it on them off. So there is no compains there. I HAVE NO MORE FRONT BUTT!!! HARAY!!! Things are looking really good I am very happy! The sneezing is getting better. I am feeling pretty good. You just have to listen to your body and when it is getting tired rest. I did take some pics today I am going to try to post them today.

today I am feeling really good. went with 2 daughter and took the grandbabies to the play park it felt good just to be outside and spend time with the kids. I was the camera man. Walking is a bit easier. Dont have to stop for the pain as much. Well not really pain just little pains. I guess more of my body saying its time to take a break.

I stepped on my scales today for the 1st time. from the day I hadit done I am down 10 lbs. WOW i was suprised. I know the way I am eating helped with that too. I can't eat very much at one time. so i'm eating smaller meals. I did not do this for a weight loss I did it to feel better about my looks. But I'm not complaining.
Feeling pretty good. almost feeling back to normal...

Feeling pretty good. almost feeling back to normal. I'm glad I got the extra week off work. I would not be able to go back to do all the lifting I would have to do today. Today is my 2 week marker. My dr said most people go back to work after 2 weeks if I had a job that I did not do lifting I coould do it. It will be good to be able to pick my grandbabies back up.
Boy am I itching like crazy. I know thats good but wow.
It feels good to stand upright again. I did not think I would ever beable to do that but it just has come natural. My hubby would say to me bend some a couple days ago. now I say to him I don't have to. LOL

Hello Today is 2days and 2 weeks after my TT w/lipo. I am feeling great. I have slept in my bed for the past 3 days and today was the 1st I did not feel pulling when I got up. Till today my hubby had to help me get oout of bed but I DID IT ON MY OWN. That felt like a big accomplishment. Now you have to understand my bed is not any normal bed is is high with a 3 inch foam topper on it. you like sink into it. Then I almost need a step ladder to get into it. So thats why it feels so good to do this on my own. LOL.
My scabs are starting to come off. Everytime I take my binder off they just fall. I was told to wear my binder as long as i can atand it. If its going to help me I can stand it. Well they said after 2 months I will not need it anymore. I still have a spot here and there that still get numb feeling. I am told that will happen for a while.
Well good luck to all going to get done and good healing to all that was done

HAPPY EASTER everyone!!!!
Ok tuesday is 3 weeks and i go back to work. I started on friday getting so seapage out of my BB now today is it a little thick and kind of yellow. I am calling the Dr office tomorrow I do have a appointment on Wednesday but I dont think this should wait till then. I have been having some pain and I told my hubby I feel kind of bloted just like when I got my periods 2 years ago.i even have some reddish around the BB. I feel my lower area is swelled a little. So well see what they say tomorrow.other then that I am feeling really good about everything.

This week is 4 weeks and I am feeling great.. I went back to work this past week, The 1st day was a little rough. I went back to my dr about the drainage from my BB and he said everything is looking great. The drainage is ok its just some leftover fluid that needs to come out and since my BB is not all healed yet thats where its coming out at. Now i only have a little drainage from there and I finally lost ALL my stitches. My swelling is still there some but I have lost a lot of it too. I went to put my Jeans on and I can say some of them are to big but others just fit. I can still wear all of them but its nice that they are a bit big. I am going to take some new pics and post today.I still have a little pulling feeling from rime to time but ai ask my dr and he said that is all part of the healing. It can take up to 1 year till all that goes away.

good morning all. I am feeling so good. I was going through some cloths and getting aread of some that does not fit anymore. ( what a good feeling)
I have a little tear on my BB but dr said just to put some ointement on it and it will be ok.
I have been so busy with the weather getting nice. We got our pool up and running. Not that it is going to be warm enough to use. (the pool cover ripped, so had to do something)

I am feeling so good about myself. I feel like a new person. the only trouble I had was a reaction to the stitches. I had a few spots on my insition that came open so i went to the dr and here i had stitches ( that was to desolve) coming out. They said my body was rejecting them. So they pulled them out. All the pains are gone now. I go for my final check up the end of the month. I have been thinking about having a little lipo on my back area. Still not sure.
