I think my decision to get lasik correction was one of the best things I did. I am really funny when it comes to my eyes so I was always scared of the procedure. After watching a few videos online and talking to people the process still looked scary, but I was ready for it.
The procedure took less than 10 minutes and I was out the door. It was mostly painless too, the only thing I didn't like was after - man it burns. It feels like you chopped 100 lbs of onions, but after taking the required nap I felt almost normal again.
The results were almost instant and now I don't have to ask the husband what time it is before getting out of bed. I do forget I'm not wearing contacts though at times.

Glad you had such a good outcome! I agree, the thought of eye surgery, even after reading tons of reviews that say it wasn't that bad, seems scary!!
