25 Year Old, No Kids, Stubborn Belly Fat and Love Handles. Alexandria, VA

My aplogies for uploading pics a little late. I had a busy weekend. I am still swollen and my results improve everyday. Today, I will hitting the gym. I will update you all with more pics in 2 weeks. Those will be my 1 month post op pics.

I decided to get liposuction after realizing that my love handles and lower abdomen were resistant to diet and exercise. I recently gained weight after graduating from college and working at my job. Before, I was 130 lbs with toned upper abs and a pudgy lower abdomen accompanied by love handles and 34 DDD bra size (will be getting breast reduction June 2015). I exercised 3-4 times a week before or after class. I was fine with my body but what frustrated me was that I could not wear clothing that showed my stomach. So after gaining 33 pounds my body started to disgust me. Before lipo, I was 5'0, 163 lbs and my measurements were divided by: upper abd. 32 inches, middle abd. 30 inches, lower abd. 38 inches. I found American lipo center by researching local clinics in my area. The alexandria location is close to where I live so I decided to go there. Dr. Segev had a lot of great reviews so I knew he was the one. I set up my consultation and then surgery date. During my consultation I met one of the staff members named Kara. She has an amazing personality, so good that I had to mention her in my review. After meeting the doctor, we then set up my surgery date. I would be getting my full abdomen, flanks, and bra line done.
On the day of surgery I was very nervous. All that went away once I popped my medication. No part of the surgery was too painful. I felt a little pain in areas that did not have numbing fluid. I had two doctors performing my procedure. The nurse and doctors were great at keeping me calm and making me laugh. At times, they were so funny that it seemed as though I forgot I was actually getting worked on. I had a great time! There was no dull or awkward moment. The doctors extracted 2-3 liters of fat from my treated areas. I left he office feeling like I could go on with my day w/o rest. By time I got home I was in for a rude awakening. The numbing fluid and pain medication had wore off. I popped them pills (pain meds)so quick. I was also leaking fluid rapidly. My sister and mom took care of me those first few days.
It has now been 1 week since my surgery. I am still very swollen but see results in my abdomen and some of my flank area. Some days, it seems as if my bra roll is going to disappear then it doesn't. I'm ready for these three weeks to go by so that I can see my full results. I have not measured not weighed myself because I do not want to be discouraged by my swelling. I will say that my waist line to the eye looks like it is 27-28 inches. I will post after pics in 1-2 weeks.
