Well after having my oldest at 18 and twins that are now 5, I am finally brave enough to get a TT. I hate to look at my stomach in the mirror and even though I'm really nervous about the surgery and recovery I think it will be well worth it! I'm a single mother to three beautiful girls and I feel I need to get my confindence back and having this nasty looking stomach dosen't help. So wish me luck..
Finding this site has really eased my nerves everyone seems to be happy with results and some have said the recovery was'nt as bad as they expected.

Well today is my pre op appt can't believe only 8 more days till my big day! Still excited and nervous mostly nervous about my final results. I hope to post some before pics if I can figure out how. Wish me luck at my appt today.

OMG I can't believe at this time next week I will have my new tummy! I getting more nervous about the surgery and what my new tummy will look like.. I'm so worried I might regret the choice to have a TT. Hope not, everyone seems really happy for the most part so I hope I will also be as happy!
Well I got all my prescriptions filled and ready...
Well I got all my prescriptions filled and ready for the big day. I got some extra pillows and a few other items I might need for the first few days. Six more days, I know it will be here before I know it. My nerves get the best of me at night but during the day I'm ok.

Holly cow only three more days. I can't wait to have it over and done with so I can stop thinking about it 24/7 lol. I am also a realself stalker now checking in every couple of hours! Still just hoping for a great outcome and a beautiful tummy!

Almost time! I'm mostly excited at this moment and a little nervous. I get pretty nervous when I'm lying in bed trying to fall asleep so I'm sure tonight will be the worst. I have to be at the surgery center at 7:45am not to early thankfully, I just hope as soon as I get there things start moving quickly because I will be a huge ball of nerves while I'm waiting I'm sure. Well Realselfer's wish me luck can't wait to share pics and updates of my new belly. I have my follow up appt on the 20th so no pics before then :( I'm gonna be going crazy till I get to see my new tummy!

On day of treatment
Well I have my new tummy can't wait to see the results. I cannot believe how good I feel, I really hope I feel this good throughout my recovery! Well just wanted to post a quick update hope all the other june 15th tummy tuckers are feeling good as well.
Well day two post op feeling much better today...
Well day two post op feeling much better today than yesterday. I was so sick throwing up headache and just not feeling well at all. Today has been much better, I am feeling pretty nauseas now but it might have to do with the fact that I tried taking a peek at my belly button and it looks horrible wrinkled like part of a stretch mark was worked into my belly button i'm so worried now I think it's actually making me feel sick. I really hope I didn't just go through all this to have a stomach i'm still going to be embassed of plus a huge scar. Ugh this is going to drive me crazy.
Ugh po day 4 I slept maybe two hours last night....
Ugh po day 4 I slept maybe two hours last night. I've had this horriable burning sensation mid sternum area, I thought maybe it was severe heartburn took two tums with no relief. I ended up taking two of my pain mess just so I could get a little sleep. Woke up with the pain and had to take another pain pill. Any one have any idea what this pain could be?

Po day 5 just got back from my follow up appt. Got to see my belly for the first time so far i'm really happy, my incision is nice and low my stomach is pretty flat a little swelling and some bruising. Hopefully my drain tubes come out soon they are causing tons of discomfort and drainage has slowed alot crops my fingers they come out soon. Well just a quick update hope all are doing well. I'll try and post pics later today
Well po day 10 feeling great except for these darn...
Well po day 10 feeling great except for these darn drains I thought I was getting close to getting them out then all of a sudden the drainage turns dark red and doubles in output i so bummed. I'm getting around well still a little hunched over but not to bad. Well hopefully this is the storm before the calm and the drainage will slow again. I feel like the stupid drains are putting my recovery on hold UGH.
I'm 2 weeks post op today and just got my drains out and I can tell you without a doubt that yes, it is worth it.
I thought I would be walking kissing my knees but it's really just slightly hunched over. I was afraid the drains would hurt but they didn't hurt at all. They were a little annoying during showers but I found 2 old lanyards and tied them together and clipped the drains to that for showers (see my pics)
I also thought the pain would be unbearable but as long as you stay on top of your meds it's perfectly alright. After 1 week I was off the meds.
Trust me, you will be fine and very happy with your new belly. We mommies deserve this!
