I finally did it, it's been 2 days since my surgery, June 1st, and I'm very happy I did, though I have to admit the pain is incredible, everything hurts, my muscles were repaired so it really hurts to do anything, my back hurts from being hunched over and I have short breaths that bother me because I get a pain in my chest. But my incision isn't as bad. I will put before and after pictures as soon as I can. Good luck everyone on your recovery!

Today is 1 week, I'm feeling amazing, still sore, very swollen, I really can't see results yet, but I know soon my body will start changing, ( I hope)! I'm cutting down on my meds, no more pain meds, just ibuprofen if needed. I still walk slow and slouched over but almost straight. Bending over to pick things up hurts and that drives me crazy cuz my kids are messy! Well I am anxious for results to show!

Tomorrow I will see the Dr. It's been 9 days, I'm swollen and wish I didnt weigh myself this morning. I don't know why but I thought I'd be lighter, no weight lost, my pubic area is hard and swollen, feels weird. My Dr doesn't use drains so i wonder if that's fluid that needs to be drained? Well I will find out tomorrow, but over all I'm feeling good. Still need to figure out how to post pics, hubby has them on phone, any suggestions?

Hi there, i'm contemplating getting a tummy tuck with Dr. Hopkins.... what happened about the fluid? I notice you mentioned that your doctor doesn't use drains, so I was curious how that worked for you?

Hang tight!  You are in the worst possible stage ever.  Everything will hurt for a while but this will pass.

Rest, medicate, good nutrition and fluids are all you need to focus on right now.

I know it hurts like crazy but this is all part of it.  Stay focused on the prize at the end of recovery and you will be fine.

Keep us up to date and post the pics as soon as you are feeling up to it.
