I have been thinking of this for several years. I looked into several PS and 3 of them cancelled the day before my consultation. I thank God I found Dr Hopkins.We scheduled my surgery for 12/20/12 and wouldn't you know it I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery 2 weeks before my TT was to occur.

From day one I had instant faith in Dr Hopkins. He spent 2 hours with me at my initial consult. His mannerism made me feel like I was his only patient. My pre-op is on 2/19/13 and I can't wait. I know I am in excellant hands and have total confidence in Dr Hopkins. I can't wait until March 7 which just happens to be a day before my 64th birthday.

At my pre op I decided to not have the pain pump. I think Dr Hopkins agrees. I really need to be able to feel the pain so I can make sure I am not straining my body more than I should. I am starting to feel both excited and a little anxious.

I had my TT on the 7th. It was such a personal experience. I felt like I was in my own home. The staff were wonderful!!! Was there pain after? But what else could there be? This was a major operation but I was never, not even once, worried about the outcome. The after care has also been relaxing. Thank you so much for putting my life back together Dr Hopkins. :-)

I will be thanking Dr Hopkins the rest of my life...

I will be thanking Dr Hopkins the rest of my life because he has given me back some quality of life that I was worried about losing. I know I will never be rid of my back pain but I can already tell that this surgery has stopped the progression of the pain!!!!! I have a new life and I owe it all to Dr Hopkins.

It has now been over 8 weeks since my surgery. I just can't believe how happy I am with my results. I know I still have a few months ahead for more healing but Dr Hopkins is my hero!! I achieved the results I needed and that is my back pain has been greatly relieved!!. The pain will never be gone but it was getting progressively worse and I didn't want to increase my pain medication. I can feel already that my pain has subsided. If it doesn't get worse I am a very happy camper. Dr Hopkins is not just a great surgeon but he is an amazing human being!! Thank you Dr Hopkins :-)
