I have wanted bigger breasts since I was 15 years...

I have wanted bigger breasts since I was 15 years old. And by "bigger", I don't mean stop-and-stare-va-va-voom. I just wanted average boobs that match my 5'9" 160 pound frame. I was a 38A, which didn't even real like a "real" size when shopping for bras at mainstream stores. I'm a strong lady, who works outs, lifts weights and wears a uniform to work, so I felt like by body was missing this feminine touch. I wanted to wait until after I was done having kids, so when my daughter was 2 years old, I decided it was time. I found out from a friend that she had had breast implants several years back, but they looked so natural and fitting, that I would have never guessed they were implants. I knew that her doctor would be my first choice. During the first consultation, the staff was welcoming and patient with my two hours of questions. I always felt like they were genuinely happy to answer my questions, no matter how trivial or routine. I explained that I wanted my implants to be on the conservative side, and just balance out my frame. Dr Hopkins always respected what I wanted. He has excellent bed side manner. In the end I chose a 350cc tear drop Natrelle impant. The number sounded like a lot while sitting in his office, but after I looked in the mirror post-surgery, I thought "Oh, I could've definitely handled more and been fine". 6 weeks of restricted lifting was tricky with a 2 year old and definitely required some family assistance. I also had to take 6 weeks off from work, as I have a physically demanding job. But in the end, I feel so much more well-rounded and balanced. It is taking me AWHILE to get back the ability to do push ups and pullups like I used to, but I was warned that might be the case. And when the doctor said "most people wish they had gone just a little bigger", he isn't wrong. 350cc's placed under the muscle took me up to a full B-cup, while I had sort of envisioned a C-cup. But it's amazing what that boost has done for my happiness. I finally look in the mirror and feel relief. Sigh.
A quick word on the nay-sayers: Plenty of people in your life may want to give you their opinion as they learn you are considering this procedure. I chose to be forthright with several coworkers, my coaches and fellow gym mates because it was an obvious 6 week disruption during the healing process. Some were supportive while another accused me of being "obviously insecure if you're willing to modify your body"...until I pointed out that he has a sleeve tattoo, which is most certainly a permanent body modification. I knew what was right for me, and I did this surgery only for me.

Dr Hopkins has a kind bed side manner and was very warm and approachable with my questions. His staff seems happy to work at his practice. Since he has his own surgical suite, he is able to keep his prices competitive and pass the savings onto the patient. My procedure was slightly more costly because I chose a silicone tear drop implant. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Hopkins to any friend or family member.
