After 3 fraxel treatments my skin is smoother and scars are less noticeable. I've done 3 so far and plan on 2 more. My settings go a little higher every time which give me more hope that results will keep getting better. I feel the price a paid was the done deal and I trust the RN who does the procedure. It takes quite some patients but overall I notice significant improvement

Hi, I'm happy to hear your good results thus far! I've had 2 treatments so far and I'm happy too with my results so far. I plan on doing at least 3 more as well. What were your settings? I've heard you have to increase the settings for acne scarring, for best results!

Honey, if you did NOT have an MD do your procedure, you are NOT receiving the authentic laser treatments you read about here. You are receiving cosmetic, non invasive laser procedure. Note the average cost for the real thing is $2700 WITH many days of convalesence. You might want to re-think the $500 treatments...in the end it could cost you @2500-3000 without the true laser results. It sounds like you may be going to one of those Beauty Spas...not an MD's office.

I had 3 fraxel treatments on my face and one on my neck. I have had several fruit acid peels and 3 Obagi blue peels over the past 10 years. I just tried the fraxel laser and am happy with the maintenance it provides. However, one must be realistic in expectations.. there is always pain involved. Make sure you have a board-certified plastic surgeon who errs on the side of caution. I know that I would not have the skin that I have today if it had not been for the peels, the sunscreen, and the consistent care that I have given to my skin.
