Worth It
Spent: $4,000 in Los Angeles

I am a 57-year-old woman who suffered from very bad overcrowding -- "witch teeth" -- on the bottom. I'm a singer, so ... people actually *see* my bottom teeth. I got Invisalign 8 months ago, and am on my last set. I started seeing results immediately, which was very motivating. I kept my Invisaligns in probably 20 hours per day (they suggest 22, but ... I'm sure most people don't do that.) All my teeth but the one worst tooth were corrected within five months. But that one little guy just would *not* get in line. Two weeks ago, he finally settled in to his proper place. My mouth feels and looks beautiful. I'd had conventional braces when I was in my teens, and the Invisalign was much quicker and infinitely more comfortable, once I learned not to speak with that little lisp. The only pain I experienced was some (possibly referred?) occasional pain in my skull bones (temporal bones?) My mouth didn't really hurt at all. I'm hard to please, generally, but I feel that Invisalign was the smartest money I ever spent. I now have a mouth full of straight youthful-looking teeth.
