i have done rhynoplasty to improve my look. i had big nose with aand nice hump a water-drop like nose tip. i have done nose reduction, removed the hump and defined the nose tip.

Now its my third month after the surgery still my nose feels slightly numb - does not feel natural in terms of skin sensation> the look has improved very much i believe. still i a not satisfied because no improvement has been shown yet in my nose tip definition. i wonder when should i expect to see the improvement in my nose tip?

how long should i wait until i could observe the nose tip definition improvement?

Hi Mariaa -- It can take up to a year to see full results from a rhinoplasty, and usually the tip stays swollen the longest. Have you seen any change at all in your nose tip since the surgery?

This depends on a lot of factors. eg thick skin, amount of cartilage removed, technique used and grafts used. If your tip skin is thick, it takes longer to see the definition in the tip and your surgeon might consider some steroid injections to help it along. You should consult your physician.
