Never Did Share This...

I should have shared this a long time ago, but thinking back to the start of my journey I was so against getting another tattoo in fear of it going bad. All I wanted was to have a nice tattoo, but I had 2 bad attempts and was done with them....so I thought. Half way into my journey my husband suggested I try a small tattoo, just so that I could see that they don't always go wrong...I was very hesitant, in fact I was extremely hesitant....but after giving it some deep thought I went for it. I decided on a henna style lotus on my ankle...what a pleasant surprise - it turned out perfect. It really was a boost for me, because I was stuck in the mindset of "every tattoo goes wrong for me" if you live life with that attitude then you may miss out on some really amazing opportunities. I call this my healing tattoo, and what an appropriate place, near the foot...to keep moving forward.

Getting My Ribs Tattooed!

Tattoo Session in Progress - Ribs
2:13
I always meant to share this video, this was my ribs session— to my surprise it wasn't that painful, I think it was 3 hours...it was awhile ago so I can't recall. Really happy with how the tail turned out, since then I have added a peony and some shading, still a work in progress but taking a break for right now. The one thing that worries me is that the ink won't hold well in some of the laserd areas, I don't know if anyone else has had this issue but we have gone over the lotus 2 -maybe 3 times and it still looks faded. I am not too concerned because I knew there was risk when tattooing over lasered skin.
