I've noticed as I've entered my late 30's, that my upper lip has thinned out. Also, my upper lip is asymmetrical because my teeth are not properly aligned.
I had already been going to Medical Aesthetics of New England for other services and had heard that Dr. Walter and his staff were particularly skilled at filler, so I thought I'd try it.
The thought of having a needle stuck in my lips sounded painful, so I was very nervous about the procedure. Dr. Walter used a numbing cream beforehand, and I only felt a slight pinch. He also was able to make my lips look more even using filler, and this was a much less expensive alternative to getting braces, which isn't in my budget right now.
I've gotten many compliments on my lips, and I really like the way they look now:)
Dr. Gert-Paul Walter

Dr. Walter has an easy-going, gentle demeanor. He thoroughly explained the procedure and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. He is a very likeable doctor and always shakes my hand after our appointments.

Thanks for sharing on RealSelf! Curious how lip aug is an alternative to braces? :) Is it just that you want both but can't afford the braces right now?

Would love to see your lip photos!

yes. that is exactly it. from the front my teeth look straight, but the right side slopes back, pulling the right side of my mouth down. it's not an alternative, braces are the only thing that will completely correct it, but they are not in my budget right now.
