So Far, So Good

Worth It
Spent: $3,000 in Encino, CA

I have been going to {edited - provider information is located above the review for registered users}, who is a plastic surgeon, for the past 2 years for Botox, and he suggested that I try the Active FX. I'm on my 2nd day post-treatment. {edited} did the procedure under general anesthesia, and I'm so glad that I did it this way. I felt absolutely NOTHING during the procedure. (However, it was $500.00 more.) Afterward, I was groggy, as was to be expected. I have been taking Valtrex, and only Advil for pain, which is minimal. So far, it has not been painful at all-only a little uncomfortable, like I have left a face mask on too long. It does look a bit scarier than I expected-I look like I got hit with a blowtorch! I am following the post-op directions to the letter. I will follow up with more info, as I found these boards to be very helpful to me when I was researching this.
