“Don't Take, Unless Secure in Life”
Spent: $200 in Utah
Posted 28 Jun 2010
I took it at the end of my senior year in high school, a very difficult time for me because of the college stress and actually leaving my family and how to go to school. Taking Accutane should not be taken, unless you are not dealing with any stress. I was on it for a little over six months, and during those six months I was moody, I had a very short temper and was somewhat depressed. I have been off of it for almost a year now, and am acne free. The only and biggest problem I had with this drug was the side effects that I am still dealing with. About three to four weeks after I stopped taking Accutane, I began shedding hair, FAST. In a week I was completely bald of the crown of my head. In the weeks following that, my hairline began receding back and all the hair on my head got thinner and thinner. I used "Rogayne" for a few months and my hair came back, then I started shedding again. I've had to keep my hair pretty short so I don't look too bald. My hair has grown back around my head, except for the very top of my head, it is still very thin, but at least its coming back. I wouldn't recommend taking a high dosage for too long like I did. But you might get lucky and not have any side effects at all.
