I had two rounds of accutane. I had the first round when I was 16 and the 2nd round when I was 23 (YES IT COMES BACK). I had a mild case of cystic acne and it worked very well the first time with little side effects. My skin was crystal clear until around 21 it started to become cystic again. After the second round it was beautiful again and again little side effects until about 2 weeks after finishing. I started to have severe joint pain that could not be diagnosed. Something went wrong that second round and I would give anything just to be pain free with acne again! Roche makes you sign your life away to take the drugs and I was a foolish teen seeking perfect skin. Read the risks and complications before you sign your future away!!!

Its been almost two years since you posted your review of accutane. I hope the joint pain you were experiencing finally subsided. I would love to hear an update from you and know how you are doing.
