Worth It
Spent: $1,500 in Troy, MI

As a certified medical esthetician, I have seen a lot of procedures done in the office of the plastic surgeons that I worked with.

At 54 years of age, I had tried restylane, juvederm and botox. I tried the scultra, and I was very impressed with how it filled out the hollows of my face. I had lost about 20 pounds prior to this procedure, and of course, lost much of it in my face causing me to look older. It is well worth the money.

Is there discomfort with the procedure--a little bit, but compared to childbirth, it was a piece of cake! Everyone I have seen who has had the procedure by the doctor I worked for looked much better and was pleased with the results. Much better than going under the knife, especially when filling in volume is all you need!

My Doctor:

Dr. Kenneth Shaheen is an experienced, concerned plastic surgeon who does his homework when it is comes to new products and procedures. Conservative in not trying to "overdo" or "over promise" results.

There is no such thing as a "certified" medical esthetician. You're an esthetician, there is no recognized certification as a "medical esthetician" in the state of MI.
