“Very unhappy with vaser for back fat”

Vaser Liposuction: NOT worth it

Cost: $5,500
Pain: Uncomfortable
Vaser Liposuction satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor
I do not recommend my Vaser Liposuction provider: Name not provided
Why: she has been good at botox and many other facial fillers and i might be judging too harshly on the lipo..not sure! i will try to post pics later to see waht others think

i had the vaser-lipo to reduce the rolls of fat on my back. she assured me that doing the upper, lower abs and flank areas would give the result i was looking for.

it was painful, not as described in the brochures and the result is NOTHING like the brochures! i have sagging fat bags and my whole stomach looks like cottage cheese. i complained about the problems earlier and was offered a touch-up.

i was apprehensive as i thought the pain was horrible, so i was given some fat dissolving shots (a set of 3) at an additional cost of $50 per time. it has now been 8 months since the original procedure... i went to see her again and she offered me a touch-up for only $2500!! is this reasonable?

maybe i'm being too harsh, but i really want to ask her if she would be proud to use my before and after photos to represent her work! i would think she would want her customers to be satisfied as most women talk to their friends about this sort of thing... my husband thinks i look deformed.

Fat dissolving shots? Was that the Lipodissolve? That in itself can give you all kinds of problems and cause appearance you talk about. I am not sold on this Vaser and Smart Lipo versions of lipo yet. I think the most important thing is how qualified the doc is to utilize these machines. Many docs bought or leased these machines and went to the training seminar for a few days and then were sent back to their offices to start performing the procedure. Where as a skilled surgeon spends years working and developing his/her skills. Not saying your doc was not skilled, I am just commenting in generalities in regards to what I have seen, heard and read. As far as the cost of a touch-up, I don't have much to input on that, the doc may not be charging for her/his time, but there are still costs that have to be covered like anesthesia/ologis etc.
