Not Worth It
Spent: $6,000 in the Netherlands

I live in the Netherlands and I had vaser done on my legs (including calves) .

I'm so disappointed with the result now 17 weeks later. I hardly see any difference. My calves are only 1 cm less but my skin is loose and I have 2 scars in the middle of my calves that are so visible and ugly that I don't think I will ever dare to walk with bare legs again. I'm devastated.

The docter never told me about these incisions, he told me they would not be visible. Now he tells me that he did not tell me that and that it is a necessity to make the incisions there when performing vaser and that everything will be just fine if I give it some time.

Does anyone has scars like that on their calves after a vaser procedure? I really hope you can answer my question.

My Doctor:

He was not honest to me about the procedure but is now acting like i'm the one who is not being truth full This docter sucks. the only things I have to show for this procedure are scars and sagging skin.

Could you provide me with further info? I live Bangkok and Tokyo nowadays so I've done extensive research before I decided to have anything done- party because of my tendency to get hypertophic scars or keloid. "I'm so disappointed with the result now 17 weeks later. I hardly see any difference. " Were you properly informed that VASER only helps with fat removal which will NOT give you the toner, leaner legs that we all want? Unless, your calves contains high fat level, VASER does almost nothing, The calves mainly consisted of muscles (which are why they always look rather chunky) I opted to use botox injection for the last two years- (but i have it done religiously- no more than 4 months apart) The docter never told me about these incisions, he told me they would not be visible. Now he tells me that he did not tell me that and that it is a necessity to make the incisions there when performing vaser and that everything will be just fine if I give it some time. Yeah, tell me about it. I had a mole removed on my upper arm when I was young and I have keloid until now despite all steroid injections an gental YAG lasers etc. If I were you (first priority= scar) I would definitely use a good quality- scar pad (either silicone or whatever the new things is called). It helps tremendously in preventing scars from getting more visible and helping it fade.
