I am 28 years old and 21 weeks post botox for crow's feet, glabella and forehead regions. Hated result from the moment it set in - totally changed my smile and the way my face moved.

My cheeks are still not lifting how they used to and hence stopping at a certain point, creating an awful bunching effect under my eyes and a whole load of wrinkles which were not there in the first place - will these remain now? My crow's feet muscles seem to have stagnated and although there is movement they are no way near full strength. I am so scared that this will never improve now.

Also, my eyebrows still appear scarily high, despite having near full movement in my forehead - this is not so bothersome as I can cover with fringe but I don't want to have to do this for the rest of my life.

Please can anyone shed any light on this? It has destroyed my life for the past 6 months and the thought that this is permanent damage doesn't even bear thinking about.

Pros - none

Cons - frozen face, created more issues, destroyed confidence and ruined quality of life

Did it as I had premature crow's feet due to sun exposure, stress and an animated face

My question is this - how much longer until this nightmare is over?

You already know my opinion from my email to you, but I will post it here as well. I think that the hideous cheek ptosis side effect of botox gone bad (which I have too) takes a long time to wear off - around 8 months in total. I also think that improvements happen in phases, which is why you think it is 'stagnating'. I have taken a lot of photos of my 'progress' and some weeks there is very little improvement then I notice improvment within a couple of days. Roller coaster. Hang in there! This is NOT your final result and it will all come good for you (and me too, I hope). Cheers.

I have to say it is disheartening to read so many horrible botox stories. I have been using it intermittently for about 6 years with no bad side effects at all until I got it injected under my eyes about one week ago - and with horrible effects, as I think it also affected the lower eye muscle and I am tired all the time in addition to looking exhausted all the time with bags. I am praying this will wear off very soon.. praying. Hearing 8 months makes my heart break. I highly recommend never getting it done under the eyes...

Any improvement? I have a similar problem and it's killing me.
