Not Sure
Spent: $500 in uk

Hi,
I had botox for the first time 5 weeks ago. I had it done in 3 area's. Between my eyebrows, forehead & the sides of my eyes.

Afew days later I developed deep creases in my eyelids. I went back to see the doctor & he advised me this will resolve itself.

I am worried as 5 weeks on its no better. It only shows when my eyes are closed, but applying eye make up is a pain as it collects in the crease in my eyes.

Happy with the results on the rest of my face. I was getting afew wrinkles and I looked into my options & decided to try botox. Was not painful.

Has anybody else had this? and how long did it take to go? I am worried it will be permanent. Please advise me. Thanks.

The same thing happended to me. It didn't go away until the Botox wore off. I asked my injector about it on my follow up visit and she said that sometimes it happens because the eye socket is round and the skin is getting pulled from another place. Not much to be done really...but if it really bothered me, I probably shouldn't redo the Botox. I did...I guess it didn't really bother me that much. I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong. It didn't seem that noticable to anyone but me.

The most probable reason is as the forehead muscle was completely paralyzed, the brow drooped and caused the crease in the eyelids. The above explanation is not scientific. She is an injector who does not understand the different functions of the face muscles
