Tummy Tuck for Post-pregnancy Belly

Worth It
Spent: $9,000 in Blackpool, United Kingdom
I got loads of attention from men from the time I was 12 or 13 till I had kids in my late 20s. I love lying on the beach whenever it’s warm enough to do so, but I couldn’t after kids ‘cause my belly was sagging. My pregnancy fat went right away for the most part but the room in my body for it didn’t. So I got less attention, and I do want to get married one day. It wasn’t so much a decision to have tummy tuck. I didn’t feel like I had a choice if I wanted to be happy in life. Choosing a doctor I searched for all the qualified ones in my area and then had interviews with each one. I asked sorta the same questions to each one even when I knew the answers and the one who explained things the best and made me feel safest got the job. I opted to have some lipo on my hips that wasn’t so much related to the pregnancy but needed to come off and I had the tummy tuck too. I was in, out and home by mid-day, doped up and out of it for a few days and in recovery mode after that. I made sure to take care of my body and no matter how badly I wanted to just order takeaway I didn’t. I made meals for myself and drank plenty of fluids. After the first week I went and got the stitches removed. I was still swollen for upwards of 3 weeks but each day I felt better about myself. I can see my body changing, like when I go to the gym and each day I can run longer and harder, this is how I feel about my new tummy. It’s getting better. I may still go back to get my bellybutton fixed (also ravaged by pregnancy) but we’ll see. I’m okay for now and feeling great.
