Tummy Tuck for Stretch Marks and Loose Skin - Worried About Draining - Sacramento, CA

Worth It
Spent: $6,300 in Sacramento, CA

My experience was overall pretty good. I am happy about looking better in my clothes. I am unhappy that I feel so tight all the time, I can only eat about half of what I used to without feeling completely uncomfortable, and the worst part is the stretch marks that are left are huge, raised and exaggerated because they are swollen. They are more prominent that before.

I have three children and and in good physical condition.I got tired of every body part changing except my abdomen. I had loose skin and stretch marks.

I had a tummy tuck a little over 4 weeks ago. I developed a hematoma and had it drained. For some reason, my body will not stop collecting fluid. I "leak" from that drain site every day. Although I go to my ps and get the area right above it drained daily and the amounts are less and less every day, the next day, I am leaking again. I feel like a faucet and I am tired of the moisture. My drain site is not an open wound, yet fluid finds its way out of that area. My last visit, my ps aspirated 20 cc's, compared to 60 3 days earlier. Why can't my body absorb this on its own?

Over a year later, and I feel and look great. Still have a flat tummy, stretch marks hardly visible.....scar line lightening up, and I am in bikinis all the time in the summer. So glad I did it and would do it again in a heartbeat. I like my waistline; I am a perfect coke bottle shape. I do work out but tend to slack off sometimes. Luckily I have stayed thin though.

thanks i did find him online.. what did you think of him now.. did you like him and his work. 2 years later would you do it again?

I absolutely would do it again. I think I was just impatient and wanted to see results immediately. When I didn't I was disappointed. But he assured me the entire time that it would get better, and it did. I am estatic over the results.

Awesome!! He's a great guy and the staff is amazing. I think I lost about 4 inches off my waist, and I am an hourglass figure now. I will dust off my camera and see what pics I can pull up and I will attach them as soon as I can. The only pointer I can give is to trust what he tells you. He knows what the end result will be and just because the results aren't evident immediately doesn't mean all is lost. Be patient. Good luck! I'm so excited for you!!

Dr Hause did my MM on March 31st. I thankfully had no issues whatsoever and am healing amazing quickly. The first week was awful pain wise. Had to take 2 Vicodin every hour like clockwork just to get by but at the 3 week mark I feel great with only an occasional Motrin. My advice would be to take things very easy for at least two weeks and have help for at least 7-10 days so you don't strain anything trying to get in/out of bed, etc. Let your body rest.

BTW did you have ultra-sound treatments afterwards? I never heard of this for healing before but I had my first session (included in the price) a couple of days ago and it was amazing how quickly I felt much less tightness in my tumy. I was able to straighten up the next day with little to no pain. I have another scheduled monday and am thinking of adding another session or two. (Yes it was that good!) :)
