I am doing great 4 wks post op and have a very flat tummy....scar may be a little high but I will worry about that if it does not change over time.

I had minimal pain, but after 2 c-sections and a hysterectomy, this was a cake walk. Did not like the drains though...glad to get rid of them!!

Biggest complaint is the tightness all across the tummy and sometimes the feeling the muscles are knotting up tight inside. PS says it will go away, but I would like someone who has been there to fill me in on what to expect. I am lathering on the moisturizer. I am standing straight and walking the neighborhood.

Really looking forward to FULL recovery!!! One added benefit...I can't eat as much...feel full with less.

How long does the feeling of tightness last and any tricks to help it feel better???

I am 4 months post op of a FTT. The tightness is still there, but certainly much less than it was earlier on. I'm actually use to the tightness and it reminds me to keep good posture. I rarely swell now and see a six pack forming (ok, maybe a 2 or 4 pack, but it's more definition than I had before!). You will likely see your scar go a little lower when the swelling stops. I couldn't be happier with my TT, I'm glad you are too! Good luck recovering!
