“My Recent Tuck and Hernia Repair”

So far I am very pleased with my tummy tuck and umbilical hernia repair which was 4 weeks ago today. Ive had 2 c-sections and had an apron and a tyre around my midriff which has always bothered me. I am however a fitness instructor so do a lot of exercise and teach a spectrum from aerobics, weights and pilates but with no success to cure this problem. The tuck was very painfull indeed and I am still sore and swollen and hope that the end result will be worth it as at the moment by tummy still seems big although the appearance is better and the apron has gone!

I would like to know when I should return to work as a fitness instructor as I dont want to cause any damage and so far my advice is very vague. At the moment I know 6 weeks seems optomistic as my job intails lots of weights and jumping around? Also, what weights shouldnt be lifted post op, is an iron too heavy, a bag of shopping? Please advise? Mel.
