“Tummy Tuck & Breast Lift - Wish I Was Better Prepared for Post-op Recovery”

Experience was very good. Wish I had been better prepared for the post-op pain and length of time needed to heal. Not easy!

I am 4 weeks post op from a tummy tuck and breast lift. I have a knot the size of a tennis ball just under my sternum. It is hard and relaxes and shrinks when I apply a heating pad. But when I take off the heat and stand up, it returns. Any idea what is causing this? And yes it hurts.

Hi, I live in Northwest Arkansas and I'm looking for some great surgeons in the area. Can you recommend any? I want to get a full tummy tuck with possible breast lift and augmentation in the near future as well. Thanks and hope your recovery was fast!

I used to live in Fayetteville. I had consultations with Dr Vanderpool and Dr Atkins. I would highly recommend either of them. I have friends who have been very happy with their results. Unfortunately we moved to CT last year and I wasnt able to get the surgery done in NWA. I had the surgery done here in CT..and even though it cost a lot more than it would have in AR, it was worth it! Good luck with finding a surgeon if you havent already..just realized you posted this back in May.
