Not Worth It
Spent: $100 in Miami, Florida

I've been going through a skin recontruction process with my doctor for the past 3 weeks due to having terrible acne problem. The skin has improved a lot and I was happy with the results, when my doctor applied chemical peel with 35% TCA without warning me about the reaction and the recovery process or taking a skin test.

The process itself was uncomfortable and itchy. The first day my face was super red. I was in pain and couldn't sleep at all the first night. The next morning I woke up and saw that half of my face was completely burned. The only problematic area I had before (my forehead) was looking smooth and silky; however my sides were completely burned.

Today is the 3rd day, I peeled a lot of skin off using tonic not touching burned areas. The wrinkles on my forehead are gone, but the rest of the face still looks terrible.

If I knew the reaction, I would have never done it..

Most doctors do not apply a strong peel solution such as TCA without telling their clients what to expect and how to handle aftercare.
