Worth It
Spent: $8,500 in SOUTHERN US

I had my upper and lower abs done. The procedure itself was pain free. Took a Zanax before hand, and I listened to my mp3 to drown out any noise, and I was pretty relaxed through the whole thing.

Yes...There was pain, brusing, and some draining the next day. I would say, the next day is the worst. Every day got better and better. I was out and about running errands two days later. The deep dark bruses went away, along with the pain, in about a week. Keep in mind that I had A LOT of work done. Plus, I am 48, not sure if that makes a difference, but thought I would mention it.

I am thrilled with the results so far, and I am looking forward to getting the rest done next week. I am a little embarrassed to post the pics, but there is such a huge difference, that I thought anyone considering having this done should see my results. Flanks and Lower Back next week...

Wish me luck...I will post the pics. :)

My Doctor:

My doctor did a fantastic job. I have read some of the other posts and I think the results are determined by the skill of the doctor. She did a wonderful job.

How many inches did you lose on your waist? You look great!

Thank you :) At the time of the after photo, I had lost about 3" in some places and 4" in the lower area. I have since had the flanks, waist and that lower part of the upper back done, so I am swollen from that. Can't wait for the final result ! It is already looking pretty good.

Do you have any other pics. I am worried about how much work I might need to miss... I'm trying to miss as little as possible. Also I would be getting my upper/lower abs, love handles, and bra line done, I would love to see more pics of those areas you had done if you have them and wouldn't mind. I'm just stressing that I shouldn't really be getting this done...

When are you having your procedure done? And, are you having all of those areas done at the same time? She did my upper and lower abs, one day and a month later I had the flanks, sides (waist area) and the bra roll done. So I went twice. I am 3 weeks post the second procedure. I will post more pics today or tomorrow. I think as far as missing work..it depends on what you do. I had to take about 4-5 days off because my job requires a lot of lifting and bending. Plus, I think it depends on how much you are having done. Just my opinion :) I was very heavy and had a lot of fat removed. (2 1/2 liters first time and about 1 1/2 the second). I am very happy I did it. I am a lot more comfortable in my clothes. I just feel better about myself.

I noticed that you had overghang on your lower ab area before the lipo. Did your doctor reccomend a tummy tuck or was it just lipo? I am seriously thinking about doing it but am afraid i will have saggy skin when i am done. I had my bra roll and flanks done about 5 weeks ago and I am thrilled with the results. Hope yours went well

I only had the Smartlipo done. It seemed to firm and lift the area too. No saggy skin. My doctor never mentioned a tummy tuck. It turned out well with just the Smartlipo. It has been almost 6 months since I had the first procedure done, and I am still so very happy that I did it. Worth every penny. If you were happy with your bra roll and flanks, then why not go for it. :) I am much more comfortable in clothes and my self esteem has changed tremendously. The whole process has been worth it, with out a doubt. Good luck to you.
