I've been reading all of the reviews/comments on this website for weeks (and hearing of everyone's personal experience has been very helpful!)
I just had SmartLipo (outer thighs) yesterday! I'm normally 117lbs, 5'3"--- and had a small fatty area that I've been trying to get rid of on my thighs... so I finally went for it! The procedure was fairly painless (I'd say "uncomfortable" if anything)--- however, I wouldn't say this is something I could do on my "lunch hour" as some tout this to be.
I had some "leaking" post-op yesterday but was warned in advanced by my Doc and his staff so I wasn't too frightened... a little sore today (like I ran a 100 miles on the treadmill!) Hoping to see results soon!!

It has been exactly 1 MONTH and 1 DAY since I had smart lipo on my outer thighs and I couldn't be any happier! My results are fantastic!
The first two, maybe even 3 weeks post op were very difficult.... I could hardly walk straight for about two weeks postop, had extreme bruising and a slight burn/scratch ( (?) from the initial surgical tape that was put on immediately after the procedure... but everything has healed and is hardly visible with the exception of two small lumps that I can feel when I press on the area.... (though you cannot see them).
I am the exact same weight as I was pre-op but I could see a huge difference in the shape of my thighs.... not to mention that I can hardly grab anything when I try to pinch them!

The NY Location is very nice and "spa like"--- but the people are the ones who really make this place! I had my initial face to face consultation with Voula & Dr. H who explained the procedure in full detail. They also made it a point to make sure that my expectations were in line with the results. While my initial reason for seeking Smart Lipo was to reshape and reduce cellulite--- Dr. H made it very clear upfront that this would not "cure" or get rid of cellulite--- though it would help minimize the look of it. Prior to my procedure, and POST OP, I had a handful of questions but was always able to reach someone in their office by phone (Usually Dan!)---- who was able to help answer any/all questions/concerns I had. Everyone there was very helpful and rather nice about it all! I could not be happier with my choice of provider!
