Hi Sheri. My procedure was just a full TT with no MR (never had children, so my abdominal muscles were not streched out, just some loose skin from significant weight loss as a teenager). I did have a full TT however, not a mint-tuck. My surgeon excised the redundant skin and created a new belly button. I would definitely recommend my surgeon, and I found that he is very reasonable and well-worth the money for the individualized attention he gives you. I was wanting a mini-tuck at first, but he knew from experience that I would get a less than desirable result if I did not go ahead and opt for the full TT... he probably saved me a lot of grief by convincing me that a full TT would give me the results I was looking for when some other doctors would have just gone ahead and done the mini-tuck (which would mean less work for them) just because that was what I thought I wanted... Overall, I think you need to go with a sugeon who has your best interests in mind, and wants to see you happy with the results above anything else. ...Just my two cents :) Good luck!
