very satisfied with the result, finally got a nose i can live with ( it was my fourth operation, the first one was a complete disaster after which I couldn't look at myself in the mirror nor breathe normally) now i m very happy, except that I hit my nose against a glass, and i m really worried that its shape will be affected.

Hello, 2 months after my surgery, I ve accidently hit a glass( thinking it was an open door...), i had a lot of bleeding and felt a lot of pain. right after the accident i ve put the tape and went to hospital. the Dr. who examined me, said a priori there are no broken bones and the cartilage looks OK ( only a small wound on a a tissue coverage the right cartilage). He prescribed me an antibiotic. I cannot see the surgeon who did the operation for me as I live now in a diferent country. I m really worried that the shape of my nose will be affected especially that it wasn't my first operation, and i finally was satisfied with the result and I don't want to go through another operation...could it happen that the nose doesn't get affected after an accident hit as the one I ve undercome? after how much time can any side effect appear? thanks

Thank you for the feedback you are right, my nose was not affected after the accident. Now, after a year, I have asymmetry at the tip, but this has nothing to do with accident. Still, overall I m quite satisfied ( the Dr. did a good job) and will never do it again :) Otherwise,Reem the doctor is called {edited}

see, i aint an expert, but for the most it wont change nothing into the final result, guess u already have passed the certain amount of week for the nose to swelling down, just try to take more care of it as your life itself, cus 4 operation are too much for a nose, or that is what i think , just take the most care that that litle hit wont change nothing. hope d best for you.
