Worth It
Spent: $3,000 in UK

I didnt like my nose after having played pretty hard sports and having it hit so many times so i decided to have it "fixed".

This was some four years ago and I still have a dent on the right side of my nose. It isnt visible and Im not even sure if it was there from the start or not but I would just like to have a professional give me some information.

Is the dent ever going to go away? Is the dent going to get any bigger? Is it dangerous in any way? I know some of the questions might seem somewhat silly but I would really like any info I could get.

Having a dent after rhinoplasty four years ago means that it is most likely there to stay. However, most small depressions or dents can be easily corrected with either filler which is temporary or softened cartilage from the inside of the nose that is placed as an onlay graft through a small intranasal incision.

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to respond. I'm not really worried about it being there since it is not visible, but is it likely to get bigger or will it become dangerous in some way later? If not I really dont mind it since my nose looks a lot better now then it did before. Thank you again Steve

Steve, since it has been four years since your rhinoplasty, the dent is unlikely to change over time and should remain the same and if it is not noticeable or bothersome then I would recommend that you leave it alone. respectfully, scott trimas, md
